We love the intimacy of small weddings. Many couples choose to focus solely on their commitment to one another and to avoid spending the time and energy necessary for a larger event. You may want to have a very small wedding, but we warn you. Your close friends and family will clamor to share this time with you. Often it takes discipline and even some deception to pull off an elopement.

          We have created a package for events including 2-6 people. James will sit with you to help you create your own ceremony and perform the marriage. Eve will create a lovely hand made bouquet and boutonnière, and we will bake a small heirloom pound cake decorated with fresh flowers. Of course this includes reserving the time and place here for your celebration. The cost is $500. We urge you to stay at least two or three nights to give yourselves a deeper and more relaxed experience. This lodging is extra. Call for more details.

Recommitment Ceremonies

          We urge you to consider recommitting to your marriage. It is wonderful to see a couple realize and voice the gifts of their marriage after many years-  to move back into that romantic place where you would marry this person again, often for very different reasons and with a deep sense of gratitude. We just got married again this winter, after thirty one years, and it was a truly enriching experience for us.
